Numerology Compatibility Calculator
Type two birth dates. Each becomes a life path number, and the two numbers are compared by family.
How numerology compares two people
Numerology compatibility starts from the life path of each person, worked out from the birth date. The two numbers are then compared by family. The tradition groups 1, 5 and 7 as thinkers, 2, 4 and 8 as builders, and 3, 6 and 9 as creators. Master numbers count as their root, so 11 joins the 2 and 22 joins the 4.
Two people with the same number are read as mirrors: easy to understand, sometimes too alike. The same family suggests a shared pace and style. Different families suggest contrast, which the tradition reads as complementary when both people are willing to learn from it.
There is no percentage here. Numerology names a kind of relation, not a score, and any single number leaves out most of what makes two people work.
Number families
| Family | Numbers | Shared style |
|---|---|---|
| Thinkers | 1, 5, 7 | Independent, curious, need room |
| Builders | 2, 4, 8 (and 11, 22) | Practical, loyal, like a plan |
| Creators | 3, 6, 9 (and 33) | Expressive, warm, idealistic |
Worked examples
- 1990-03-05 (life path 9) and 1985-11-29 (also 9):
same-number - 9 (creators) and 1980-01-01 (11, counted with the builders):
different-family - 1993-09-27 (22) and 2000-02-09 (4), both builders:
same-family
How this is calculated
Each birth date gives a life path (month, day, year reduced, added, reduced keeping 11, 22, 33). Families: 1-5-7, 2-4-8, 3-6-9; master numbers join the family of their root. Relation = same number, same family or different families. No score.
