Only the number on the door counts, with any letter. Leave out the street name.

Reading a house number

Home numerology reads the number on your door the way a name is read. The digits of the house or flat number are added, a letter counts by its Pythagorean value, B is 2 and C is 3, and the total is reduced to one digit, keeping 11, 22 and 33.

If you live in a flat, the tradition uses the flat number, since that is your own door; the building number describes the block. Leave out the street name and the zip code. Some people also add the street number of a business or an office.

The result describes the mood the tradition gives a home with that number, for example a 4 as a steady base or a 5 as a lively, changing house. It is a lens for thinking about a place, not a reason to move.

  3. 1600: 1 + 6 + 0 + 0 = 7

How this is calculated

Digits count as themselves and letters by Pythagorean value (A=1 ... I=9, J=1 ...). Everything is added and the total reduced to one digit, keeping 11, 22 and 33.
