Type a name the way you use it. The Chaldean table gives each letter a value from 1 to 8, never 9.
How Chaldean numerology differs
Chaldean numerology is older than the Pythagorean system and uses a different table. Letters are grouped by sound rather than alphabet order, so A, I, J, Q and Y are 1, while F and P are 8. No letter is given 9, which the tradition treats as sacred and keeps apart.
The second difference is the compound number. All letters are added at once, and that two-digit total, such as 35, is kept and read on its own before it is reduced to a single root digit. Chaldean readers usually work with the name you are known by now, not your birth name.
Because the tables differ, the same name often lands on a different number in each system. The result shows both side by side, so you can see where they agree.

How this is calculated
Chaldean letter table (A I J Q Y = 1, B K R = 2, C G L S = 3, D M T = 4, E H N X = 5, U V W = 6, O Z = 7, F P = 8). All letters are summed at once; the compound total is shown, then reduced to one digit.
