The seven core numbers

A numerology chart gathers the numbers a reader looks at together. Two come from the date: the life path and the birthday number, which is simply the day of the month, reduced. Three come from the full birth name: the expression from every letter, the soul urge from the vowels and the personality from the consonants.

The maturity number adds the life path to the expression. Tradition says it grows more noticeable after about forty. The personal year shows the current point in the nine-year cycle.

Readers look for repeats and contrasts. The same number in several places is taken as a strong theme. A gentle soul urge under a forceful life path is read as an inner tension worth knowing about. The working under the grid shows every sum.
