Name Numerology Calculator
Type any name, the way it is actually written. Compare spellings, a new surname or a company name side by side.
Numerology for the name you use
The expression number is fixed to the name on your birth certificate. This calculator is for every other name: the one friends use, a married surname, a stage name, a baby name you are choosing, or the name of a shop or company. Numerology holds that a name you answer to every day colors how others meet you.
The method is the same Pythagorean one. Each letter is worth 1 to 9, each word is reduced to one digit, and the words are added and reduced, keeping 11, 22 and 33. You get three numbers: the whole name, its vowels and its consonants.
Try spellings one after another. Changing a single letter can move the total, which is why some parents and business owners compare names this way. For the older Chaldean letter values, use the Chaldean version of this tool.

How this is calculated
Same Pythagorean method as the expression number, applied to any name as typed: letters valued 1 to 9, each word reduced to one digit, words added and reduced keeping 11, 22 and 33. Vowel and consonant numbers use the Y rule chosen in the form.
